Instruction:

1. Choose a local grocery store or large discount store in MALAYSIA with which most you should be familiar.

• Identify features of the layout of that store.
• Does the store employ any of the five retail layout strategies identified in lesson?
• As consumers, do you have any positive or negative impressions about the layout?
• Provide comments on the respective layouts.
• Identify 2 competitors, which layout features stand out?
• Which layout features seem to be in place for efficiency vs. aesthetics?
• Is there anything that is not appealing of that store?
• Does something about the layout in particular cause the customers to choose that store over others?
• Is there anything that should be changed?

Provide a report of the input above. Requirements of thousand to two thousand words count.

OTHER INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Students are required to refer to a few webs or link to produce high quality input.
2. Reference Requirements: American Psychological Association (APA) latest edition is the strict and standard referencing style used within the Faculty. Harvard Referencing is also acceptable based on discussion with facilitator.
