For the last four years he has been working with NTN Electronics as an employee in the Production Department and he is also a part of a cross-border work team with members in China, Jamaica and the United States of America. Danny shares a good relationship with his co-workers in the other departments and gets along well with everyone in his department. NTN Electronics has a new CEO and is currently undergoing a change in structure. The production department is one of the departments being restructured. Each production employee will be assigned to a small six-member production team and will participate in extensive cross training with team members. Danny is not looking forward to the extensive training as he thinks that the members of the team to which he has been assigned, are too reserved and he fears that this will impact his performance. In the first week of the new six-member teams working together, Danny's team began to resolve some of its conflicts and had consensus on such things as members' roles. By week three, the group was putting major emphasis on task accomplishment. However, there was still a bit of conflict in the team as Danny still felt uncomfortable working with the new team.
