Topic is Fake News: This would include tactics such as "click bait." Following the 2016 American election, some sites like Facebook started blocking "fake news." Should social media sites block "Fake News"? How can you tell the difference between fake news and real news?

Steps 1:

1.Can you identify everything you already know about the topic under the heading "what I know";

a)Know: (what do you already know about this topic? List it out everything you can think of - no matter how insignificant it may seem. It's okey if it ends up being wrong.)

b)Want to Know: (List it out all questions you would like to research. You may add to this as your research sparks new questions.)

d)Learned: (what did you learn that you didn't know before or that was perhaps confirmed for you. Ensure that you cite your source.)

e)Action: (what can you do with the information you have learned to help other? This is where you consider the best format/medium for sharing what you have learned)

f)Question: (Often research leaves us with additional questions. Is there anything that is unanswered for you? What new wonderings to you have?)

Step 2:

After you finished step 1, consider how you will present your research findings.

What is the best format/medium for sharing what you have learned with other (consider the commercial implications of the technique, who benefit from the topic you are researching and what do you gain?)
