Background:Mr. Tyson is a retired professional boxer. He decided to start teaching private 1-on-1 boxing sessions out of his house garage to his neighbors. He created a website where people can pay in advance for multi-lesson packages ranging from 1 lesson for $25 up to 20 sessions for $300. All lesson packages must be used in one month. He has a calendar in his website where customers and book lessons directly. He is available every day except Sundays and has available slots any time of day. Due to overwhelming demand, he has reached almost full capacity so he is thinking of setting up a formal gym in Pearland, TX which is where he lives. His vision is to have a fully equipped gym with a boxing ring where boxers can spar, different kinds of punching bags, an area for exercising with some weights and equipment, and a retail shop to sell boxing gear and apparel. Mr. Tyson wants to reach out to all kinds of customers: children, people that want to exercise, boxing aficionados, and serious boxers that want to compete at the amateur level and eventually turn pro.He is concerned that expanding to a gym, he may lose the personal connection he has with his current customers and will lose the niche he has created for himself when compared to other fitness and mixed martial arts gyms in the area which are large and impersonal and offer group classes with very expensive private lessons. Nevertheless, he is determined move forward with his dream of owning a full-fledged boxing gym. Mr. Tyson does not have enough money saved to start his new gym and will require investment partner(s) and/or a bank loan for this project.
