  1. State the forces involved in each physical activity
  2. On what object is work being done? How far is it being displaced?
  3. How long does it take for the force to displace the object?
  4. A major part of this lab will be measuring the force that is being applied. You will need to be creative and design a plan for measuring the force. Think about tools that you have that could be used to measure the applied force. You may need to conduct external research. Be sure to site any sources that you referenced in your planning process.
  5. Calculate the power produced in each scenario. Which activity requires the most power? Was this consistent with, or counter to what you expected?
  • A description of the equipment you used
  • A detailed description of the process you underwent to collect that data you needed to calculate power (how did you calculate displacement? Force? Work?)
  • A detailed discussion of any major assumptions you made throughout your procedure
