Title/Cover Page: The title/cover page must have the project title, course code and name (BUS1111: Business Research Methods), names and HIDs of all group members, instructor's name, and date of submission. 2. Table of Contents. To learn to create a table of contents in Word: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cN-JX6HP7c 3. Summary: Write a 100-150-word summary to briefly explain what your project is about. Do not write in first person, meaning don't say "I did this research....". Write in third person, for example "This research study was conducted to analyse the pros and cons of studying online..." This is an example; you need to write about your own research. The summary must also briefly include what methods you chose, how many participants you had and very briefly explain some key findings. Keep it short and not too detailed so the reader is engaged and wants to read more. 4. Introduction: Present a powerful introduction considering the fundamental objectives of the research. 5. Methods and Methodology: In this section, you will explain what methods you chose (qualitative or quantitative) and what were the instruments you used to conduct this research (interviews or surveys). Why did you choose this method? How did you design your research questionnaire (attach your questionnaire/survey in the appendix section). How did you choose your participants? How did you conduct a pilot study? 6. Data Analysis and Findings: This section will include answering your research questions and how you have analysed your data. You may use graphs and tables to present your data and demographics. Check the material studied for your respective methods in your class folders. 7. Conclusion: In this section you can mention what were the overall findings, what are your thoughts and opinions on these findings, did you expect these results? What further research could be done and recommendations for future research on the subject. Remember to back your research with secondary findings from your literature review. 8. References: Throughout your report you need to use academic citations and referencing (please check materials in your class folder). Especially when you are doing the literature review as you will be collecting information from secondary sources. Use the APA format. 9. Appendix: attach your questionnaire and any other documents that you would like to add in relation to your research. Formatting 1. Page Margins: 1" top, bottom, right, left. 2. Page Numbers: Insert page numbers in the footer from the 'insert' tab in the ribbon. 3. Font: Arial or Times New Roman (size 12). 4. Line Spacing: 1.5. 5. There is no word limit, but the report should be a minimum of 1,500 words. Divide your work across all sections.
