HR SM Hiring Project

In this project, you will work in a Group. You will form and operate as an Agile team to create an Agile Plan. The Agile Project deliverables include tools that will be utilized to hire a Scrum Master (SM). The purpose of the assignment is to experience and build the skills needed to be part of an Agile Team. A secondary goal is to explore the skill sets required to work on an Agile Team. The project is split into two parts. You do not need to be an HR expert to complete this project.

In many of your class projects in the PGMT program, you will plan projects using predictive approaches. In this project, you will plan using an Agile Approach. You will not be using the tools you have used in other classes; there will be no Project Charter and no WBS, for example. You will use the Agile tools we will study in the course.

For Part 1 of the Assignment, your Term Project Proposal, you create a post on a Trello or MS Teams board (must be visible)

1. Form an Agile team: Form a team, name your team, and volunteer for Agile roles. Provide a list of these roles and your team name.
2. Create and post a Product Vision Statement for the HR SM Hiring Project: Use the Product Vision template provided in Module 2. Take note the template and example for the Vision Statement can be found in the Agile Planning presentation on Slides 9-11. You can also practice in the Module 2 Discussion Forum.

Your submission on e-centennial for Part 1 will consist of a link to your ongoing work.You will be graded on what you post publicly on Trello or MS Teams (Team name, Agile Team Roles, Vision Statement). The text submission should be a link that anyone, including your professor, can access. Please check that it can be accessed before submission. You are not submitting a report. You are providing your Professor access to check your posted work.
