Instructions: I would like to know the average year of U.S. pennies in the worid. For this assignment collect a sample of between 100 and 200 pennies (you decide how many) and: 1. From Chapter 9 . Construct a 95% confidence interval for the average year of a penny in existence today. Show all of your data including all of the dates of your sample pennies. Describe in detail how you collected your sample, where did you get your pennies. Show all of your calculations and explain your results. 11. From Chapter 10: Follow the six step process in chapter 10 and test the following hypotheses using your sample of coins. The null hypothesis is: the average year for the world's population of pennies is greater than or equal to 2013 . The alternate hypothesis is: that the average year for the population of pennies is less than 2013. You choose a level of significance. Include a labeled normal curve with your results. Do you reject the null hypothesis or not? Calculate the p-value and interpret the results. Show all of your steps and calculations and explain your results.
