Instructions

Open a new blank worksheet in Excel or download the blank Excel Assignment Template and apply the following formatting to the worksheet:

Rename the Sheet $1$ tab to 'Data'.

Title columns A$-$C: Name, Date, and Amount.

In column A$,$ list the last names of $8$ fictional patients.

In column B$,$ enter a random date for each patient.

In column C$,$ enter a random amount of medication for each patient. Enter random numbers only. Do not include the unit of measurement $($ml$.,$ mg$.,$ etc.$)-$ enter numbers only.

Alphabetize the patient's last names in A$-$Z sort order.

Insert a new column between columns A and B$.$ Title this column first name and populate the column with first names. Insert a new row within the middle of your list. Populate it with patient name John Doe.

Apply center alignment on all cells with data in them.

Use the Border tool to create definition around a cell within your sheet.

Choose a Fill color for your column titles.

Autofit the width and height of all cells with data in them so all data is clearly visible.

Highlight cells D$2$:D$10$ to place the SUM function in cell D$11($see SUM tutorial video for reference$)$ E$.$

Highlight cells D$2$:D$10$ to place the AVERAGE function in cell D$12($see AVERAGE tutorial video for reference$).-$ E$.$

Highlight cells D$2$:D$10$ to place a $3$rd function from the a$$tosum menu in cell D$13.$
