The National Museum of Psychology Virtual Tour - Akron, OH Founded in 2018, the National Museum of Psychology is the only museum of its kind in the world focused on Psychology and its history. The Museum explores the history of Psychology as a profession, a science, and an agent of social change. Visitors explore the history of the human experience through exhibits on the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness; the rise of IQ testing; the Psychology of advertising; studies of race and gender; explorations of animal learning; and classic studies of obedience, social norms, and aggression.
