Fact Pattern: Michael and Susan are best of friends. They do everything together. One day, Michael expresses to Susan his admiration of her vintage Tiffany ring that she bought for $100 last summer when they were together vacationing in Maine at a local antiques store. Michael is convinced that his girlfriend, Anna, would very much like it. Michael offers Susan $100 to buy the ring. Susan replies that she really likes the ring but is torn because she knows that Anna would very much like it too. Susan then states that she would not be happy departing with it but she would for $150 because she saw on Antique Roadshow the same ring was valued at $500. Does Michael have a right to buy the ring for $100.
