Please explain your direct experience related to the following:

1)Could you tell us a little about why you chose to become an accountant?

2)Can you please describe in detail your experiences and successes as an accountant and what are your most recent achievements?

3)What other areas of accounting (GL, AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliations, month end close, payroll, cost accounting, fixed assets, etc.) do you have direct hands on experience with, and at what level? Please explain?

4)If you have cost accounting, can you tell us a little about your experience in this area?

5)Tell us about the most complex report, financial statement, or information and analysis that you have had to prepare? What made this financial report/data so complex? What did you learn?

6)What are the steps you go through to check your accounting work before you submit? Please give an example of this?

7)Which accounting application/software do you prefer most and why?

8)What was the toughest accounting task, problem, or project you had to solve in your career, to date?

9)Describe how you would perform in a staff accounting role, where you were called upon in a variety of areas, explain your ability cross sectional in accounting?

10)What do you hope to have and accomplish with your next employer. What are your career goals and targets?

11)Do you have strong references and what would they tell us about you; as a leader, peer, and subordinate?

12)What computer applications (Great Plains, MAS90, Oracle, Peachtree, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office etc.), have you work with and how would you rate you proficiency? (Using a scale of 1 5, with 1 being an expert, 5 being a novice, for example Quickbooks = 2)

13)We will be requiring a background check, what will show up, is there anything we should know? -N/A

14)Why did you leave your last job and why are you looking? -After a number of years in my last position I am now looking for a new experience where I can contribute and develop in a bigger environment.

15)What is your availability to begin employment with Yarbrough should you be selected for hire?

16)Lastly, is there anything else you think we should know that would aide us in better understanding you as a professional?
