Anyone can have the ability to manage however, management comes with skills and any time people come together to achieve a goal they are engaging in management.The greatest success comes when strong leadership is paired with effective management (Lumen leaning n.d.) The management skills that T.J. Max possesses isStrategic planning, delegation, budgeting, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and conflict resolution.

T.J. Max possesses a solid set of management talents that she has honed over the last 13 years. Her strategic planning skills enabled her to successfully build a business strategy for the farms in the Safe Lite network, assisting them in developing their vision and mission, as well as their operational plan. She has also proved her ability to distribute tasks and responsibilities to her team, allowing them to make decisions on their own. T.J. has also demonstrated competence in budgeting, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and conflict resolution. Her Community Communications initiative, for example, "Without communication there is no management" (Lumen learning n.d.) this has allowed her to successfully interact with farmers and keep them up to date on farm news, while also building cooperative partnerships among them. He is a detail-oriented professional who is highly efficient in managing production and quality control. He is known for applying policies and procedures in a very even-handed manner and for seeking data before rendering an opinion or giving direction. J.C. Penney is ethical and trustworthy and is seen as a deep thinker who acts when he is certain of the next step.

Innovative: L.L. Bean's is an innovative thinker and entrepreneur. He is able to come up with out-of-the-box ideas and solutions to problems. T.J. also possesses their leadership skills by demonstrated a lot of outstanding leadership qualities. She has the power to inspire others to attain their goals by being a visionary. She is also a great motivator, boosting her team and assisting them in reaching their greatest potential. Her inventiveness and innovation have also enabled her to create items sourced from local suppliers, as well as natural and nutritious food lines. As forJ.C. Penney possesses mentor and guide to his employees in the technical areas of production and quality control. He is known for expressing expectations for the end product or report, and for delegating tasks and responsibilities. T.J. is an excellent candidate with a diverse set of management, leadership, and leadership style talents. L.L. Bean is a hands-on leader. He likes to stay immersed in the business and get involved in the day-to-day operations. He forthright and blunt in his one-on-one interactions. He doesn't shy away from difficult conversations and is honest and direct in his approach.he is known for being blunt and to the point. He is not afraid to speak his mind and is often direct and to the point.J.C.'s leadership style is democratic, collaborative, analytical, and decisive. He seeks input from others, focusing on employee development and encouraging them to share their ideas. He is also highly analytical, taking the time to research and understand the data before deciding on the best course of action. Once his decision is made, he is decisive, taking action to ensure the goal is achieved.

Candidate Recommendation

Recommendation candidate for me could be J.C. Penney, T.J. Max, and L.L Bean. J.C. could be a best fit because he works at the company and familiar with all the company policy and how work is being do, which makes it easy for the company. Choosing from within is important because it shows your team the traits you went to see more of. Some of the qualifications J.C. has, he works at the company, know half of the employee, and acquainted with all staff, he remains confident and humble therefore, create a positive work environment.

Rejected Candidates Explanation

The second choice T.J. and third choice L.L. Bean candidates are all candidates that could be selected noting really wrong with them "generally, speaking, employers are not required to respond to all candidates who submit a resume or application in response to a job posting. (Lumen learning n.d.) I believe the reason why T.J. was not selected is because she was not what the company needed although she had experience with local famer. I believe the company needed someone who has more experience with others bigger business in my opinion.

Reason for not choosing L.L. Bean. L.L. is a very ambition person who is welling to put every effect into his work. he remains me of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who started his book business in his basement and today he is one of the most successful businessmen because of how he started. However, that may not be the case for L.L. Bean. L.L. Bean may have been successful in his business, getting $360 million annually but dropping out of college and not having a strong leadership skill could be the reason why he was not chosen. According to (Lumen n.d.) The idea of an effective leadership can help a business become better. In order for L.L. Bean to become a candidate he should understand leadership well.

When it comes to the rank, T.J. is higher than L.L. Bean in terms of education. T.J. at least earned a BA in business in a part-time program; however, L.L. Bean drop out of college.
