We propose to furnish and install the resilient flooring, carpet, and vinyl base to complete the Residential Building Project (found in Appendix B of the Estimating in Building Construction) for the sum of $8,856. The price includes sales tax.

ABC PAINTING
We propose to furnish and install the painting, include primer and minor touch-up of drywall, to complete the Residential Building Project for the sum of $2,949. The price includes sales tax.

C&H HEATING AND COOLING
We propose to furnish and install the heating and cooling system, including the natural gas lines, to complete the Residential Building Project for the sum of $7,500. The price includes sales tax. Connection of the gas lines to the water heater is excluded.

L&M PLUMBING
We propose to furnish and install the plumbing to complete the Residential Building Project for the sum of $11,449. The price includes sales tax. The connection of the water heater to the gas line is included. The gas lines are excluded.

B&B FINISH CARPENTRY
We propose to furnish and install the electrical to complete the Residential Building Project for the sum of $10,213. The price includes sales tax and a $1,000 allowance for light fixtures.

Add 15 percent profit to the labor, materials, and equipment costs. Add five percent profit to the subcontractor costs.

Double-check the Project Estimate Summary sheet, making sure that all of the required blanks have been filled in and that the numbers entered on the spreadsheet from your calculations and the subcontractor bids are correct.

Enter the total cost from the Project Estimate Summary sheet on the Bid Form you prepared in Part 1 of this project.

Make sure that you have properly filled out the Bid Form.

Submit the Bid Form, the Project Estimate Summary sheet, and all backup documentation (your calculations, etc.) to your instructor. The backup should include backup documents for all six weeks of the course.
