Materials small pot, stove, water, thermometer (with a temperature range of at least -20C to 120C) Procedure 1. Place water in a small pot on the stove, and turn on the heat. Heat the beaker for 10 minutes, recording the temperature every 30 seconds. 2. Turn off the heat, and record the temperature of the water every 30 seconds for the next 10 minutes. Graph the heating and cooling curves on the graphs below. Simply place a dot for each data point you collected (there should be 20 for each graph).
