Introduction: Product suppliers also known as vendors offer rebate programs for certain categories of products they sell. The supplier will give you a calculated amount of money back based on the quantity of items or total purchase value of products you have purchased from that category. Rebate programs are used to encourage people to keep making purchases from the same supplier, so they can get more money back. For example, if I purchased $ worth of products, and earned a rebate, I would receive $ back as a rebate. Note: The values used in this exercise are for demonstration purposes only and do not necessarily reflect actual customer purchase volumes, expenditures, or rebate percentages.
