Introductions: Special Handling. Of course, not all introductions are easy; some are actually quite difficult. Indicate what you would do in each of the following situations:

a. Youre walking along the street with your romantic partner and you meet a colleague from work. You work closely with this colleague and yet you just cant think of her name. Yet you have to introduce her to your partner. What are some of your choices? What do you say?

b. Youre walking along the street with someone with whom you have a clandestine romantic relationship. You meet a neighbor from your apartment building who stops to chat. You have to introduce these two people, but you really dont want to reveal anything about your relationship. What are your choices? What would you say?

c. Youre walking along the street with a friend who is, like you, an entry-level employee of a huge corporation. You meet one of the vice presidents who stops to chat. What are some of your choices for introducing these people? Who would you introduce to whom? What would you say?
