Is it possible to have units of A (frequency factor) in cal/mol? I understand that A=k/e^(-Ea/RT) but even if I use Ea in cal/mol I am still left with the units for k in M^-1 s^-1. How do I convert the normal units of M-1 s-1 to cal/mol? Do units of the Arrhenius factor also depend on the order of the reaction? If zeroth order A is in L/mol-s or M/s? If 1st order it is in the units of s-1?
