Is this a good example of conformity? WHY? What type of conformity is this?

An example of conformity in my life is when I went to my manager for help at work. I didn't know how to do some tasks and went to him to ask for help. I knew he would always know the correct way to do things, so I believe in doing things right the first time and it would be a learning experience as well also that I could teach someone else later on. That would be an informational social influence because since I have the motive to be correct, I seek the person I know who has the right answer.
