Do we have any defenses for anything written here? How likely is Kronez to win if she brings a defamation suit?
What are the danger zones here that should alert me to potentially defamatory articles in the future? What things should have given my reporter pause? What introduces doubt? Why does it matter?

Despite a successful recovery of seven years, famed actress Mira Kronez is reportedly back on drugs according to various sources.
Kronez, who rose to fame with the success of her television debut on That 80's Show, battled a meth addiction for approximately three years in the early 2010s but entered rehab after losing her partner and children because of her addiction to meth.
The news of Kronez' relapse was first announced by Mila's rival actress, Demetria More.
"Everyone knows she's using marijuana," More said. "I've suspected it for a while, but now I know. How else do you explain why she looks like that?"
More isn't the only one who has noticed Kronez is back meth. Her neighbor, Chad Pit, also reported his suspicions.
"Oh yeah, I think she's tweaking again," Pit said. "You know, you really can just tell. I'm just glad there aren't kids around this time."
According to police reports, Pit, who also happens to be More's fianc, has recently filed several noise complaints against his neighbor Kronez due to loud parties.
The accounts are surprising to many due to Kronez' role the past five years as the face of AA, addicts anonymous. She had been extremely successful in her recovery and was a sponsor for many other addicts.
Even those closest to her seemed surprised. Jason Timberpond, who previously starred with Kronez, said he was shocked.
"What are you talking about," he said. "Are you sure? I don't think that's right."
Kronez newest movie, Revengers 5, is set to be released in February of 2022. When asked, the producer, Stephanie Spielberg, noted that she is "looking for a replacement for [Kronez] with all of the drug rumors flying around." Spielberg added that the franchise is family friendly, and that they "just can't have that kind of stigma surrounding the Revengers."
Kronez, whose net worth is 75 million, currently lives in Miami Beach with her sister, Mila. She and her partner Ashford Ketchum separated in 2014 due to her drug addiction. Ashford has full custody of their two children, Ashleigh, 13, and Kenzeigh, 11.
