Is this constitutional? What amendment did they violate?

1. The District of Columbia Code made it illegal to carry an unregistered firearm and prohibited the registration of handguns, though the chief of police could issue one-year licenses for handguns. The Code also contained provisions that required owners of lawfully registered firearms to keep them unloaded and disassembled or bound by a trigger lock or other similar device. On November 19, 1975, Rick Stevens was arrested in his house and brought to the police station where he was questioned by police officers in connection with a kidnapping and assault. After two hours of interrogation, the police obtained a written confession from Stevens. The written confession was admitted into evidence at trial despite the objection of the defense attorney and the fact that the police officers admitted that they had not advised Stevens of his right to have an attorney present during the interrogation. Is it Constitutional? If not, which Amendment does it violate? No It wouldn't be Constitutional. It would be the 14th Amendment because they never told Rick Stevens that he could have an attorney present before he wrote the statement. 3. Ricky Steven Pobojewski was convicted of abduction, armed robbery, and capital murder. In the penalty phase of Ricky's trial, the defense relied on one witness, a forensic psychologist, who testified that Ricky was mildly mentally disabled. He was convicted and given a death sentence.
