Case Study: Jenna has been working at Walmart for 8 years. On her 8 year anniversary, Jenna came into work and was suddenly let go without notice or pay. On her termination letter, Walmart wrote that she was terminated without cause. Over the course of the last several months, Jenna has called in sick three or four times and she has also been late quite a few times. Her Manager, Carl, would make a comment under his breath but never addressed it directly with Jenna. Just four days before being let go, Jenna let Carl know that she was 5 months pregnant. a.)
