    • Review and consider the development of law and the legal systems in Canada
    • Reflect on pivotal events, cases and themes and the evolution of justice in Canada’s legal environment.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Follow the link here to view a timeline of defining moments related to law, crime and legal reform in Canada. This website contains other timelines, but for the purpose of this Assignment, please stay on the general timeline linked in this Instructions.
    2. Scroll through the timeline and answer the following questions:
      1. In chronological order (ie. oldest first), by date and title heading on the timeline, identify at least 10 key cases, legislation or pivotal events impacting or illustrating the development of women’s rights in Canada. You do not need to describe your choice; just create a list of relevant items putting the oldest first. For example:
