It is now 15 years later after the video you just watched above about Karega and Felica
Question:
It is now 15 years later after the video you just watched above about Karega and Felica Bailey. Felicia finished her Ph.D., and Karega won several awards for his social justice music. While still grieving Felicia became pregnant 14 years ago and gave birth to twins[(a boy (Trey) and a girl (Trina)]. They were ecstatic when both children were born naturally and without complications. Unfortunately, 30 days ago, while unarmed, Karega and his 14 year old boy were shot and killed by off- duty police officers at a peace education rally. Trina was wounded; Felicia held Karega in her arms as he passed away. Documented video, voice and eye-witness statements indicate that it was an unjustified, racist motivated killing. You've seen the videos yourself and now experience secondary traumatization.
As a human services provider, Felicia and the surviving 14 year old female twin (Trina) come to YOU for assistance. In the second meeting with the mother and daughter, you discover that Felicia lost her job. Karega's brother (Hari), an impoverished, homeless, combat veteran, has offered to move in to help the family, but is overwhelmed with grief himself. (Hari has symptoms of COVID19, a history of heart disease, and COPD. He's waiting for his results). In the past 15 years, many family members which normally would have been around to help the Bailey family, have passed away from COVID-19. Felicia presents in session with crippling grief. In the third session with Hari, Trina and Felicia, you discover that Felicia has a detailed plan to commit suicide.
