Another method is to use a ceramic holder on top of a glass of water to half-submerge the seed in water. Suppose that out of 150 seeds using the toothpick method 104 germinate, and that out of 100 seeds using the ceramic holder method 78 germinate. Calculate the p-value you would use to test if the proportion of avocado seeds that germinate is greater with the ceramic holder than with the toothpick method. You may order your groups in any order you wish, but make your choice clear.
