It is time to write the second of your three papers for this project. Please make the written portion at least 3 pages long, and formatted according to APA standards.

Part II of the project will build on Part I. Within this paper, you will need to address the following areas pertaining to internal controls:

• You should be able to use your flow charts, job descriptions, and organizational charts to help you identify:

• Identify at least two needed outputs (reports) for each of the following:
  • Development, manufacturing, and finances.
  • For each output, make sure to define the purpose, frequency and distribution of the reports.

• Identify options for a new AIS:
• • You may want to use the Accounting Software World site for guidance.
  • You will need to identify three mid-level packages that have a manufacturing focus (There are about 14 to choose from).
  • As much as you can tell from the website, make sure they have the capabilities to manage the departments and produce the needed reports you have identified.
  • For each of these packages, you will need to:
  • • Give a website to find them from
    • Identify if you can download a free trial version
    • You are currently using Peachtree. Will the new software be compatible with Peachtree? Can we easily convert all of our existing data or will we need to keep Peachtree so we can access it?
    • What are some of its capabilities in managing a manufacturing shop floor?
    • How many installations are in use right now?
    • Can you find any reviews or customer testimonials?
    • How long has the company been around?
    • If Bland Manufacturing grows over $50 million, is there a package within the same software company to upgrade to?
