It's time to meet new people! For this assignment, you are to go to a business or organization somewhere and interiew someone who is in charge of human resources. Go see them if at all possible. Call them only if you must. Talk to them about what they do. What are their responsibilities? How do they contribute to the strategic direction of the organization? Do they feel like they do? Do they partner with other areas within the organization? If so, who and how? Do they have a seat at the table when it comes to technological innovation, changes in the nature of work, and strategic goals and objectives? You get the idea.
