I've been watching a large dairy plant expansion occurring near my hometown in Neenah, Wisconsin. Galloway Company is a dairy-based food manufacturer that makes sweetened condensed milk and other dairy products for the production of deserts and cream liqueurs (Sankey, 2023). The food products produced at the Neenah plant are used as basic ingredients by other food manufacturers. Articles written on the expansion highlight a variety of benefits the company hopes to gain from the extensive capital investment.
