I've read this discussion in Reddit about the concept that MBTI type could change and I can't really find a way to debunk some of them. Mind taking a read and enlighten me?
This is the link of the discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/mbti/comments/ifrz0y/reminder_you_cannot_change_your_type/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
It's this one btw. It's years old but the discussion is quite intriguing. (t's a mere discussion that sort of bugged me and I'd like to know if the discussion changes your mind.)
Apart from that, I think it's best that you don't rely on personality test sites too much. If you like, want a certain and actual result, an in-person meeting with an expert on the field is best. I'm not even sure if I'm an INTP. I took the test 5 times last year and 1 time this month. Stood the same. My friend said that she was INFP in junior highschool, then she became INTP in first year college. She knew her MBTI type because she took the famous 16 personality free test. But after she get away from identity crisis and learned the cognitive functions, she realized that she was an INTJ all the time, suffering from Ni-Fi loop.
My QUESTION is: I tried asking if MBTI could change, I couldn't find any research or article to back me up. Mind to answer my question on why MBTI could change? Please I need multiple sources that are verified researches and articles based on scientific data. Thank you so much!
