Jacinda Ardern, is the Prime minister of New Zealandand exudes all the qualities of an effective leader. As the youngest female head of government, Prime Minister Arden has displayed her leadership skills by handling crises. I think one of the most important qualities to posse is self-awareness. "This means that they are both aware of their strengths and weaknesses, but also aware of their emotional state" (Leadership Roles, 2019, p.1).Arden's decision-making skills have allowed her to address the needs of various organizations and communities. When there was a terrorist attack, Arden displayed her empathy and strength by addressing people's concerns and sadness. Her overall goal was to bring peace and unity rather than fear and hate. She wanted to reassure her country they could live their lives under some sense of normalcy.

Based on her history, I consider Prime Minister Arden an Agile leader because she focuses on others' needs. Whether it is climate change, human rights abuses or the COVID-19 pandemic Prime Minister Adren showed she is a responsible person."Great leaders keep their ego in check, are humble and open to feedback.They take in criticism and rather than defend, they demonstrate curiosity and openness" (Leadership Roles, 2019, 2019).

I think Prime Minister Arden displayed inclusiveness. She posses all the attributes that I would like to have as an effective leader. Being able to have strong core values, integrity, and inspire other are qualities of a good leader. Most importantly, as a female, I believe in "girl power". In my current work profession, I focus on empowering people. The best ways to connect with others within your team or community are to remain humble, learn about cultural differences, and acknowledge people as individuals.
