1. Jack Tires, a Chinese manufacturer of the automotive tire has a long-term contract with Ford Motor Company, an American Car manufacturer. In recent months, Ford has received many nonconforming items back from its customers. Many have complained about the quality of the tires of late. Ford did a complete engineering study and determined that Jack tires have been delivering tires, not the original spec negotiated on the contract. Ford has had preliminary discussions with Jack tire and is demanding an explanation. Jack tries not to recognize they are at fault for the nonconforming tires and turns the blame back on Ford.
