Jack was reading the newspapers when he noticed an advertisement by Speedy Motors stating

'a brand-new Proton Saga from RM90,000 - call now to avoid disappointment'. Jack

immediately called Speedy Motors to confirm the price. A few hours later, Speedy Motors

called and left a voice message stating that if Jack paid for the vehicle within 24 hours, Jack

would be entitled to discount to purchase the vehicle at RM80,000. Jack did not pick up the

voice message and bought the vehicle from Speedy Motors three days later at RM100,000.

One week later he became aware of the voice message and now wants to know whether he

can claim the discount from Speedy Motors. Advise Jack whether he is entitled to the

discount accordingly.
