  1. Jackie, a sixteen year old girl, inherited a townhouse. Friz and Chrome entered into a contract of sale wherein Friz sold her laptop to Chrome so that the latter may use it for the University's online class. Chrome then used the laptop for 2 months and decided to sell it to another person named Catya without telling Friz. After a year, Friz comes to Chrome to buy back the laptop only to find out that he had already sold it to another friend , Catya. Friz then tries to buy back the laptop form Catya but the latter argues that she cannot buy back the laptop anymore since there was no agreement between Chrome and Catya that the laptop could be bought back. Can Friz still buy back the laptop?
  3. Mel is a 5thyear student at the University of the Cordilleras. Since times are getting difficult, Mel is unsure whether she can still continue studying. In order to solve this problem she decided to sell her very expensive and Original Kylie Jenner Make Up Kit worth FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND PESOS (Php 480,000) to Kyla. Since Kyla is also a student and cannot pay straight, they decided that Kyla can pay the make up kit for 12 equal installments starting on September 1, 2020. Since the Make up kit is very expensive, Mel and Kyla agreed that the make up kit will also be covered by a chattel mortgage so incase Kyla fails to pay, Mel may foreclose the chattel mortgage on the expensive make up kit.

After giving the first payment on September 1, 2020, Kyla then failed to give the succeeding payments.

Does Mel have any remedy against Kyla for failing to give the succeeding payments?
