Since Kyla is also a student and cannot pay straight, they decided that Kyla can pay the make up kit for 12 equal installments starting on September 1, 2020. Since the Make up kit is very expensive, Mel and Kyla agreed that the make up kit will also be covered by a chattel mortgage so incase Kyla fails to pay, Mel may foreclose the chattel mortgage on the expensive make up kit.

After giving the first payment on September 1, 2020, Kyla then failed to give the succeeding payments.
