Jake and Maureen Dwyer are both 50 years old. They have three children Elizabeth who is 21 and will graduate from college next year; George who is 18 and just joined the U.S. Army full time, and Louis who is 16 and is still in high school. Jake and Maureen have been married for 27 years. The family is not very religious, but a few years ago, Maureen began associating with Jehovah's Witnesses when she sought answers after both of her parents were killed in a terrible automobile accident. From time to time, she will go to a Jehovah's Witness meeting, and she follows some of the precepts of the Jehovah's Witness faith, one of those being the prohibition on receiving blood transfusions. Jake and Maureen want you to prepare advance directives for them that include both a Living Will (or a Health Care Directive) that explains their preferences and intent regarding health care, and a Medical Power of Attorney that appoints an agent or proxy to make decisions for them in certain circumstances. Maureen wants to serve as the responsible person for Jake, and Jake agrees to serve as the responsible person for Maureen. If they both become
