Jameel is concerned and supportive of her. Suddenly, Usman enters the restaurant and, upon seeing the two together, storms over to their table shouting, "You have taken my wife! I am going to kill you." Jameel, in alarm, picks up a bottle of water from the table and throws it at Usman. It hits Usman on the head and he falls to the floor, unconscious. Maryam congratulates Jameel and says, "Why don't you give him a kick for good measure." Jameel says, "Good idea. I don't want him waking up and trying to kill me." He repeatedly kicks Usman in the head, leaving Usman with a fractured skull. An ambulance is called. On the way to hospital, the ambulance is involved in a traffic accident, caused by Ali, the ambulance driver, who was playing a game on his mobile phone while he was driving. Usman and a paramedic are killed. Ali survives.
