This is your life-long goal or motto you live by or a brief description of what you want to focus on, what you want to accomplish and who you want to become in a particular area of your life. It is a way to focus your energy, actions, behaviors and decisions towards the things that are most important to you. Idealized description of a desired outcome that inspires, energizes and helps you create a mental picture of your target. High Level 5 Year Goals (HLGs): Instructions: 1. These are the Goals you want to achieve at the END of five (5) years. Meaning start with the END in mind. At the END you want to see what or would like to accomplish what? 2. These are NOT Action Steps but are a Higher Level for the desired outcome. Action Steps are for the next section. 3. Must include a minimum of one (1) Business and one (1) Personal objective. 4. These HLGs do NOT need nor should use SMART Objectives 1. Business Objective want to achieve at the END of 5 years. 2. Personal Objective want to achieve at the END of 5 years. 3. Etc... Action Steps: Instructions: 1. These are the detailed Step-By-Step objectives by year that will show how you will achieve your High Level 5 Year Goals listed above. 2. Each action step below should correspond to each of the High Level 5 Year Goals above. 3. There should be at a minimum of one (1) Action Step per each of your High Level Goals. a. For example, if you have five (5) High Level 5 Year Goals, then you will have at least five (5) Action Steps - one per each Goal. 4.
