Jane is having a party and arranges for a company called Vino24 to deliver 10 boxes of wine to her house.

On the morning of the party, the driver brings the boxes of wine to Jane's house and asks her to sign a receipt. Jane signs without reading it and the driver hands her a copy.

When Jane opens the boxes of wine, she discovers most of the bottles are smashed. She calls Vino24, but they tell her that they are not liable. Jane complains, but they tell her to read the document she signed that has a clause excluding Vino24 from liability.

Jane tells them she did not know what she was signing, but they are unmoved.
