JE #10 - Emotional and Social Development in Adolescence

1. Does your identity status vary across the domains of sexuality, close relationships, vocation, religious beliefs, and political values?
2. Recall your own reactions to the emotional and social developmental experiences and changes as you matured?
3. Have they been consistent with research findings? If not, how have they differed?
4. Did you have to rely on friends for insight about your changes?
5. What age did your changes begin? Were you earlier, later or roughly changing when your peers around you were experiencing the same changes?
6. Did the adults around you, openly, discuss your changes before, during or after or was it ever discussed. In my day it was not and this was such a disservice to my generation.
