Jean is an 87 year- old woman who has suffered a weakening stroke that had paralyzed the left side of her body. Aside from the stroke, Jean has been diagnosed with PTSD due to a sexual assault she experienced 2 years ago. Due to Jean's stroke, she is considered a non-medical care patient, as she requires assistance with basic daily activities such as bathing, dressing, picking up, or dropping off prescriptions. Upon Jean's discharge from the hospital and her return home, she will need social, medical, and nursing assistance, which will be provided by home health care, longterm care, and assisted living facilities
