In addition, read the article "Taming the Titans" from a recent Economist article from this past January that discusses Google, Facebook and Amazon in relation to "network effects."

Include at least (2) working links to what you find then discuss what you see as a few of the top strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing Amazon - this does not have to be an exhaustive list - I'm mainly interested in seeing what you perceive as the top ones - 3 to 5 of each are fine!

Explain what you perceive to be the key elements to Amazon's phenomenalgrowthand success in both sales and, more recently, profitability. Also, after reading the article inThe Economistand doing some more research of your own, discuss what future threats may be looming in the environment for companies like Amazon that rely heavily on network effects.
