Jessine has been admitted to hospital under Section 2 of the Mental Health Act 1983. This is Jessine's first admission to hospital and she is 21 years old. Jessine has been in hospital for 10 days and she is refusing medication. Jessine's Responsible Clinician considers that she is suffering from schizophrenia, but she does not yet have a formal diagnosis.
