A second-hand van was purchased for RM5,000 by cash. 10 Feb 13 Feb Jim took RM500 cash from the business for personal use. 20 Feb Jeremy retums goods to Jim that were purchased for RM50. 26 Feb Jim pays amount due to Jenny and gets a 5% discount for early payment. Required: a) To prepare the journal entries for the February transactions. (21 marks) b) To record the above transactions in the relevant ledger accounts and balance-off the accounts (24 marks)
