QUESTION 8: Product costing (14 marks] Aquazone Pools use a job costing system. Overhead is applied to each job on the basis of direct labour hours. The direct labour rate is $25 per hour and the pre-determined overhead rate is $15 per direct labour hour. Aquazone worked on three (3) jobs in August, Job A, B and C. Job A and B were already underway (work in process) at the beginning of August. Job A was completed and paid for by the customer in August.
