When we receive book request emails, we will first check our computer system to determine if the requested books are available.
If the book is available, the user can come to check out the book. Our system will be updated and the process ends.
If the book is not available, we will email the user to see if the user wants us to hold the book for him. If the user replies that he does not want us to hold the book or if we do not hear back in one week, then the request is canceled. If the user asks us to hold the book, we will put a request in our system to hold the book when it is returned. After two weeks, we will contact the user to check the status of the book.
