John Kalulete is a resident of Lusaka who has been in transport business for 20 years. Mr. Kalulete being a successful businessman, has many friends. Among those friends to Mr Kalulete is Mr. Joseph Nyambe who is an Accountant and working with a renown ABZ People's Bank as a Branch Manager. Mr. Kalulete, and Mr. Nyambe plan to rob the ABZ People's Bank. However, they decide to bring in Mr. Abraham Hachibanda who is an expert in bank robberies. Mr. Hachibanda as well invites his close friend Mr. Crankshaft Tembo who is well trained by the University of Zambia in Public Relations and is an expert when it comes to advising. On the 12 th March, 2024 Kalulete, Nyambe, Hachibanda, and Tembo met and agreed on how to rob ABZ People's Bank at the night of the 14 th and 15 th March 2024. On the agreed night as they reached the bank car park, Kalulete and Nyambe were told by Hachibanda and Tembo to remain outside the Bank and watch, and if they notice any danger, they should signal Hachibanda and Tembo who were going inside the bank. Kalulete and Tembo entered the bank. However, the two were accosted by the bank security guard on duty on that night who was instantly shot dead by Hachibanda. The bank was robbed in that night. However, as the four were leaving the bank premises with money in their vehicle, they were apprehended by the flying squad from Lusaka Central Police and were consequently jointly charged.
