John works for a Tier 1 automotive supplier as the Production Manager at the company’s facility in Plymouth, Michigan. The company has experienced steady growth in recent years, and with the coming of the new USMCA trade deal, the company anticipates a sharp increase in the demand for its products. To meet the extra demand, the company decided to open a new plant in Alabama, and John will be the new Plant Manager when it opens on May 1, 2020 (11 weeks from today!).

John is married with two children, ages 3 and 6; and his wife Sarah is 5 months pregnant. John does not have much experience with project management since his job as Production Manager normally entails routine activities. John and Sarah are anxious about the pending move. However, a condition of the offer is that the family has to complete the move by May 1 ^st , 2020; or earlier.
