Johnny Alamo is the owner of Retro Games, a second-hand store specializing in selling vintage games and consoles. Johnny would like to focus his time on developing new game apps for the Apple and Android platforms. To be able to do this, the store needs to generate enough profits and cash flows to pay for his living expenses. As a result, Johnny would like to hire a manager to take over the day to day running of the store.

The manager will be in charge of everything in the store from making bank deposits, issuing cash payments to suppliers, reconciling the cash register along with opening and closing the store.

Johnny has come to you for help, to recommend how he should set up his internal controls to safeguard his store since he will not be as involved going forward. He has also asked you to look at the responsibilities of the manager and comment on what you think of his idea.
