JOURNAL DETAILS Reflecting upon your work is an essential practice for personal and professional growth. It allows you to assess your achievements, identify areas for improvement, and gain insights into your work patterns and behaviors. Every other week, you will complete a journal that has two parts. First, you will discuss your thoughts in relation to your understanding of the topics covered in the current unit and previous unit. Second, you will evaluate how successfully you met your personal goals for the course. You will also reflect upon how you utilized the course resources to enhance your learning experience and complete your course requirements. Yourjournal response should be clear, concise, and organized. The expression of information must be well written and original, with few or no errors in format and mechanics. Part 1: Course Concepts (Please complete one paragraph per bullet point.) The concepts covered in Units 3 and 4 include supply and demand curves and graphs; what causes movements along a curve; what causes a shifting of a curve; market equilibriums, and elasticity. Reflecting upon these concepts, please address the following: 1. Explain how the concepts from these two units relate to one another. 2. Describe the concepts from these two units that you found the MOST interesting and/or relevant in your degree program and explain why. 3. Describe the concepts from these two units that you found the LEAST interesting andlor relevant in your degree program and explain why. Part 2: Personal Goals and Course Resources (Minimum of two paragraphs) 1. Review your goals: Start by revisiting the goals you set for yourself for these two units. Evaluate how well you accomplished them and whether they aligned with your overall objectives. Reflect on both the outcomes and the process you followed. 2. Evaluate your achievements: Identify your successes and accomplishments during this twoweek period. Consider the impact they made on your overall success in comprehending the units' concepts. Celebrate your achievements to maintain motivation and a sense of accomplishment. 3. Analyze challenges and setbacks: Assess the difficulties or obstacles you encountered during your work. Reflect on what went wrong, what you learned from those experiences, and how you can prevent or overcome similar challenges in the future. Embrace setbacks as opportunities for growth and improvement. 4. Identify which course resources you utilized MOST effectively: Which resources did you use to learn the units' concepts and complete your course requirements. (PowerPoint presentation, learning activities, textbook, seminar, homework help les, etc.) 5. Identify which course resources you utilized LEAST effectively: Identify any course resources you believe you could utilize more effectively to complete your course requirements. 6. Self-assessment: Engage in self-assessment by critically analyzing your strengths and weaknesses. Identify areas where you excel and areas where you need to develop further. Be honest with yourself and use this self-awareness to set goals for improvement. 7. Identify areas for improvement: Based on your evaluation and feedback, identify specic areas where you can enhance your performance. 8. Plan for the future: Use the insights gained from your reection to create a plan of action for the future. Set goals that align with your aspirations and incorporate the areas for improvement you identified. Break down your goals into smaller, manageable tasks to stay focused and motivated
