When Miguel finds out about the promotion of his friend, he is happy because according to him "he will have secure confidence" and he congratulates his friend in addition to inviting him, along with his wife, to celebrate such good news. They spend an excellent evening in a cheap restaurant near their homes. After dinner, Miguel begins to drink too many drinks and gets drunk, to which his friend tells him that it is time to leave, since the next day they will have to get up early. . to work. Miguel responds: "don't worry, I'll settle with the boss." He closes his eye and they laugh together. After midnight Juan decides to leave for his home to rest and Miguel, very upset, tells him to leave, because he will continue celebrating. The next day, Juan arrives at work early and calls the salespeople to a meeting to give them instructions for the following week, as well as determine the team's functions and work goals. To his surprise, his friend Miguel has not arrived. Juan asks the secretary about Miguel and she tells him that she called his wife to remind Juan that Miguel had an appointment that morning and would arrive later, according to what was discussed the day before. Juan, who had not talked about anything like that with his friend, nods his head and the meeting begins. Indeed, Miguel arrives almost three hours late and indicates that he is authorized by the boss. The following Monday, Juan receives a call very early from his friend, telling him that he hasn't gotten up yet because he had a "movie" weekend and asks him to please ring his card, since it won't take long. to arrive. Juan is very disconcerted, but at the same time he knows that there are rumors in the office about the favors he does for his friend and he fears for his job. Despite this excuse, the manager gives Miguel a letter of reprimand for his repeated non-compliance and warns him that if he continues like this he will have to be fired. After this, Miguel declares war on his friend Juan de Jesús and begins to tell secrets about his life to discredit him among the other sellers, seeking to make the slander reach everyone's ears. For this reason, Juan is called to a meeting with the company's Management to clarify the situation and they tell him to be cautious and that he cannot have friends in the company.
