Judge Judy rules on a case in her state. A case in a neighboring state has the exact same facts. Judge Haller, when referring to Judge Judy's case:
a) Would need to seek guidance from a federal court in order to determine if he is obligated to follow Judge Judy's ruling.
b) May be influenced by the ruling but is not obligated to follow it.
c) Must follow the case as precedent but only if the law is exactly the same in his state.
d) Must follow the case as precedent.
e) Would have to seek guidance on whether or not he must follow it from a higher court in his jurisdiction.
